Oct 31 marks the fifth death anniversary of the doyen of Punjabi literature, Amrita Pritam. Hailed as the poetess of the century, she gave a memorable interview to Manpreet in 1999, when she spoke about the scourge of the partition of 1947, which echoed again in 1984; she also spoke about sprituality, the seven stages in achieving it, and about religion, wisdom and knowledge.
