Learn Gurmukhi in an easy way

In this lesson we will learn some other signs using in Gurmukhi.

This is sign called and equal to "shadd" "" in Shahmukhi. It is used above double sounded words.

is called "Tippi" . It is used to produce sound of "N"(Noon ghunna ) in Shahmukhi.

is called "Bindee" In gurmukhi another another sign used for is . Use of and are slightly different.when the next word of is producing a double sound, is used and calmly spoken words are written with .

There is a special sound in punjabi in vich we feel mixed sound of and during speak tongue strike with upper front portion of mouth n then lower one. To write those words a "Bindi" or a dot is written below the word.
